POLICIES

To support our sustainability commitment, Datumstruct (M) Sdn. Bhd. maintains a set of internal policies that guide how we conduct our business responsibly. These policies cover key Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and apply to our employees, management, and business partners.

1. ANTI BRIBERY AND CORRUPTION POLICY

Datumstruct (M) Sdn. Bhd. is committed to conducting business ethically and with integrity. We adopt a zero-tolerance stance against bribery and corruption in any form.

All employees, directors, suppliers, contractors, and business partners are expected to uphold the following principles:

  • Not offer, give, request, or accept anything of value to influence a business decision or gain improper advantage.
  • Not engage in bribery directly or indirectly through intermediaries, agents, or third parties.
  • Not provide facilitation payments, kickbacks, or any other improper incentives.
  • Ensure all business dealings are transparent, legitimate, and properly documented.

This commitment applies to all business activities and interactions with both public and private sector parties, locally and internationally. Any breach of this policy may result in disciplinary action, termination of employment or contract, and potential legal consequences. 

The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

a) Bribery & Improper Advantages – Offering, giving, requesting, or accepting any form of bribe or improper benefit to influence business decisions.

b) Facilitation Payments – Making unofficial payments to speed up routine processes.

c) Abuse of Authority or Function – Using one’s position for personal gain or to benefit others unfairly.

d) Conflict of Interest – Failing to disclose personal or financial interests that may affect objective decision-making.

e) Collusion, Bid Rigging, or Price Manipulation – Secret agreements to distort competition or secure unfair advantage.

f) Falsification or Misrepresentation of Records – Altering, concealing, or misrepresenting documents, reports, or financial records.

g) Retaliation or Intimidation – Punishing or discriminating against anyone raising a concern in good faith.

h) Improper Gifts, Entertainment, or Hospitality – Offering or accepting benefits that could influence business decisions.

i) Extortion – Forcing others to provide benefits or advantages through threats or pressure.

j) Misuse of Charitable Donations or Sponsorships – Using contributions to influence business or regulatory decisions.

k) Tax Evasion – Deliberately avoiding tax obligations through false reporting or concealment of income.

Bribery and corruption may occur directly or indirectly, including through third parties.

POLICIES OVERSIGHT:

Datumstruct’s policies are reviewed periodically to ensure they remain relevant, effective, and aligned with regulatory requirements and responsible business practices.

We provide a safe and confidential way for employees, suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders to report any concerns regarding unethical practices, violations of policies, or other misconduct.
