Interior Design Concepts
An interior design concept is the essence of an interior design proposal. The concept is about creating the design and handled specific design challenges. Those concept are :-
Modern Style
Modern styles are sleek, spacious and simple, focusing on the function and organization. Modern design uses basic geometry, such as simple edges and angles, and clean lines in furniture and sculpture.
Modern style furnishings and decor celebrate natural materials, neutral or earthy colors that have a warm or inviting feeling, and the elimination of unnecessary detailing.
Contemporary Style
Contemporary design refers to what is popular in the “here and now.” Anything that is currently trending in the market of interior design can be considered as contemporary. This is often done by using sustainable materials and incorporating large windows. White walls and monochromatic furniture are also popular as they can make the spaces to appear more expensive and open.
Contemporary design often sticks to a stricter palate of black, white and grey. If the color is added, the color is often the pure, saturated tone like true red, indigo or orange.
Minimalist Style
Minimalist style gives more emphasis to the simplicity, and the design are in geometric shapes such as round-square-rectangular with no details and cleaned surfaces. The furnishing used is also streamlined & simple.
Minimalist style, as the name itself illustrates the simplified forms. Being a minimalist isn’t about having less, but it’s about showing less. Minimalism is eventually defined by its sense of functionality and ultra-clean lines.
Futuristic Style
Futuristic style in the interior space is when a dream about the distant future comes true, in the spirit of space science fiction books and movies.
Futuristic in the interior is a triumph of scientific and technical progress, the beauty of fascinating metal gloss, extraterrestrial geometric shapes and a limited range of colors.
Industrial Style
Industrial style is a design that takes inspiration from the lofty look of warehouses, factories and other industrial structures. It is all about proudly displaying the building materials which usually try to conceal.
Industrial interior design style is adding raw and unfinished look to the most thoughtfully designed space.
Transitional Style
Transitional style refers to a mix of traditional and modern furnishings, fabrications and decorative features. Through the mix of traditional and contemporary furnishing, transitional style combines various design simultaneously to create a cohesive design in one space.
The curves are combined with straight lines in a transitional style interior. The look balances both masculine and feminine attributes for a comfortably contemporary design.
